1. Overview

This website is operated by beadboo ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting our site, placing an order, or using any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our site or purchase our products.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to all orders placed while it is in effect.

2. Our products

beadboo pieces are handmade, personalized decorative accessories for dogs: beaded necklaces with charms and a custom resin ID tag. Because every piece is made by hand, slight variations in bead placement, knotting, color shade, and charm position are natural and are not defects. Colors may also appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.

3. Personalization

Your pet's tag is printed exactly as you enter it at checkout — including spelling, capitalization, spacing, and numbers. Please double-check your text before placing your order. We are responsible for matching your tag to your order; you are responsible for what your order says. Typos entered by the customer are not eligible for a free remake or refund.

We reserve the right to decline personalization text that is offensive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate, and to cancel and refund such orders.

4. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE — please read

beadboo products are decorative accessories only. They are NOT collars, restraint devices, training tools, or safety equipment.

  • Never attach a leash, lead, or tie-out to a beadboo piece. It is not designed to withstand pulling force. Always use a properly fitted standard collar or harness for walks and restraint.
  • Not a toy. Our pieces contain small parts — beads, charms, and a tag — that can present a choking hazard if chewed or swallowed by pets or children. Do not let your pet (or anyone else) chew or play with the product.
  • Supervision required. Only let your pet wear a beadboo piece while supervised. Remove it when your pet is unattended, sleeping, crated, swimming, or playing rough with other animals.
  • Watch your pet. Remove the accessory immediately if your pet shows any sign of discomfort, scratching, chewing, or irritation.
  • The ID tag is a convenience, not a safety system. A beadboo tag does not replace a microchip, registration, or a permanent ID tag on your pet's everyday collar.
  • Puppies: introduce any accessory gradually, only after your vet-recommended age and vaccinations, and never leave a young animal alone with it.

By purchasing, you confirm that you have read and understood this notice and agree to use the product only as intended.

5. Assumption of risk & limitation of liability

You, the customer, are in the best position to judge your pet's behavior and safety. By purchasing and using beadboo products, you agree that you do so at your own discretion and risk, and that you are responsible for using them as described in Section 4.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, beadboo shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage — to pets, people, or property — arising from misuse of our products, use contrary to the safety notice above, unsupervised use, attachment of a leash or restraint, chewing or ingestion of components, allergic reactions, or improper sizing. Our products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law. In any event, our total liability for any claim related to a product or order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

6. Orders, pricing & payment

  • All prices are in US dollars. Payment is collected at checkout through our payment providers.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (for example, suspected fraud or pricing errors). If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
  • We currently sell and ship within the United States only.
  • Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once personalization has begun — see our Refund Policy.

7. Returns & refunds

All sales are final on personalized, made-to-order items. We remake or refund only in the cases described in our Refund Policy: our error (always covered), and loss or damage in transit (covered when Shipping Protection is added at checkout).

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the beadboo name, logo, product designs, photos, and text — is our property and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written permission.

9. Site use

You agree not to misuse this site: no unlawful activity, no interfering with the site's operation, no attempting to access accounts or data that aren't yours. We may suspend access for violations. Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors or inaccuracies; we reserve the right to correct them without prior notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which beadboo operates, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
